the location proved acceptable enough i guess.
Honestly, i found the single elevator situation quite inconvenient. Having to navigate the stairs, especially with luggage, during breakfast hours wasn't ideal. the room assigned was rather cramped for two people. Our suitcases pretty much dominated the floor space. there was a combined bathtub and shower setup, and it presented a real temperature control issue. Either icy cold or scalding hot water came out.

terrible receptionbathroom privacy
I stayed for a few nights and found a couple of things disappointing. the tv reception was terrible,. I mean really bad.. most channels were in thai. it was hard to find something to watch, the tv also had issues. Apart from news channels. also, the flimsy curtain separating the bathroom from the room was not ideal. it didn't provide much privacy, and light and sounds easily traveled. Which was not great!!

My room was upgraded, and it was a very pleasant surprise. the king size bed provided great comfort. i also liked the provided large gold sofa. It added a touch of luxury. the rooftop pool allowed relaxation after exploration. its operating hours extend until 10 pm.
the decor felt a little dated.

the hotel is near a 7-eleven, a valuable convenience for quick needs. some street food stalls offer local flavors. khao san road is easily accessible. it is only a short walk away.

mixed feelings about this hotel
poor receptionflimsy curtain
the bathroom had a flimsy curtain instead of walls this offered little privacy. each time someone used the facilities the light shone into the main room and you could hear everything it was not ideal. the tv reception was also poor with mostly thai channels available this was frustrating after a long day when i wanted to relax.
